Hyderabad: The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Hyderabad Branch, conducted a two-day Capsule Training Programme on IS 11652:2017 – HDPE/PP Woven Sacks for quality control personnel from December 18–19, 2025. A total of 30 Quality Control professionals, including licensees, applicants and manufacturers, participated in the programme aimed at strengthening technical knowledge, compliance with Indian Standards, and awareness of recent amendments and testing procedures. The programme was inaugurated by PV Srikanth, Head and Director / Scientist-E, BIS Hyderabad, who emphasised the need for maintaining quality at every stage of production and strict adherence to Indian Standards to ensure safe and reliable products in the market. T. Sujatha, Director and Scientist-E, delivered technical sessions covering an overview of BIS, recent updates, and key changes in the relevant standards. Amit Kumar Pandey, Scientist-B and Member Secretary, joined online to explain the standard in detail and address technical queries.
